Creating Resilience: Intro to Lifestyle Wellness - Group Coaching: 

- Utilize wellness and fitness data of your choice (lab work, body composition measurements, activity tracker data, etc).
- Design a self-directed behavior change plan with coaching guidance and group member support.  
- Learn about evidence-based Lifestyle-Related recommendations and research to help you fine-tune your wellness vision. 
- Review your data to monitor progress and achieve change. 
- Work towards clear, achievable, and measurable goals that align with your values.
- Take action that promotes optimal health, wellness, and peak performance. 
- Mitigate your risk of chronic lifestyle-related illnesses.

- 12-week program with 6 x 60 minute Zoom group session meeting every other week (Monday evening at 6:30 pm ET,)  alongside 12-weeks of community access for continuous peer and asynchronous coaching support throughout the program.  

The following aspects of Lifestyle Wellness will be introduced during group sessions:

(1) Nutrition: Introduction to how the evidence-based MyPlate Dietary Guidelines can be used to prevent and reverse risk of chronic illness, to support treatment for lifestyle-related conditions, and to improve fitness and athletic performance.  Resources provided to help you learn more and apply MyPlate to your life. 

(2) Physical Activity: Introduction to the recommended minimum standards for physical activity as per the American College of Sports Medicine. Resources provided to help you learn more so that you can make regular, consistent, enjoyable physical activity part of your wellness vision and daily life. 

(3) Negativity Bias: Introduction to what Negativity Bias is and how it impacts our lives along with some proactive strategies reduce the risk of becoming overwhelmed by situational stressors. Resources provided to help you learn more about how to improve your mental fitness.

(4) Restorative Sleep: Learn how we may be sabotaging our sleep quality without even knowing it.  Resources provided to help you improve your sleep hygiene to improve attention span, mood, insulin resistance, appetite, energy level and more.

(5) Social Connection: Learn what the evidence says about connectedness to others and how this relates to overall well-being. Resources provided to help you find ways to generate positive social connections that can have a beneficial impact on your physical, mental, and emotional health.

(6) Environmental Toxin Reduction/Avoidance: Learn how risky substances like lessor known environmental toxins (ex: PFAS in drinking water, air pollution in your home, etc) have been shown to increase risk of chronic diseases. Resources provided to help you strategize ways to improve your lifestyles and reduce your exposure.

*** This program aims to offer group education and guidance at an introductory level. It can not replace the amount of personalized attention you will get from One-on-One Health & Performance Coaching. If you would like to work on your personalized wellness vision at your own pace, please consider my Health & Performance Coaching program as it provides private coaching sessions that are focused only on you and your needs and goals.

Creating Resilience: Process Art Virtual Studio
Cost: Free (Donations accepted)

Join me during my Virtual Creative Art Studio Sessions where we will make time to create art of our choosing together.

This is Process Art-Making Group that aims to intentionally generate a vibe of relaxation, peacefulness, and calm as a result of us engaging in the creative process together.  Art-making is wellness enhancing. Meeting to make art as a group increases accountability so that this creativity can happen. 

​Please treat this virtual studio with the same decorum, energy, and mindset you would bring to a meditation or yoga studio.  

Please honor the intention that this is an "Art for Wellness" group not an "Art Therapy" group. Attend with the intention to leave our struggles behind while we focus on exercising the creative part of our minds that may not get activated as much during our hectic daily lives. Allow yourself the opportunity to get lost in the flow of making art. 

There will be no art instruction. Attend prepared to work on art project of your own choice. 
All skill levels are encourage to attend. The art products will not be the emphasis of this group. You may set your camera to allow viewers to observe you work or not. It is up to you. Making time to create art is the primary purpose. 

There will be an opportunity at the start and end of each session to check in, share our art if we wish, and any 
thoughts about the experience of making time to create. If there is enough interest, there may also be a community page to allow sharing of art and discussion about art work between sessions. 
Donations help offset the cost these programs. Occasionally programs will be offered free of charge. Donations are not required to participate in any free program. However, if you do find value in the work provided here and would like to see free programs continue any amount donated is sincerely appreciated and will help make this possible. .
