Disordered Eating & Athletes: Education for Prevention
Picture
Being a performance-focused athlete, even at a recreational level, requires a lot of discipline and structure around food, exercise, sleep/recovery, and stress management. But when does it go too far? Can an athlete truly track data purposefully in an effort to optimize peak performance and still avoid disordered eating? Is it possible for an endurance athlete to focus on body composition and still maintain a healthy relationship with food and exercise?
As I take my own deep dive into all things related to Disordered Eating amongst Athletes, I created this page to share the resources I am learning from. You will find links to articles, websites, and continuing education courses. I invite you to learn with me, collaboratively, as a peer also interested in the subject matter of Disordered Eating & Athletes: Education for Prevention.  Bring a curious mind. Ask questions. Discuss the content with me.

By sharing education and resources, I hope to help prevent disordered eating for others like me who are athletes, coaches, and/or care about athletes and want to support the pursuit of peak performance without compromising health and well-being.
This a public educational group offered on Facebook.

Who is this group best for:
