Nutrition decisions don't happen in a vacuum. We need to assess your exercise, sleep, physical health, proactive coping skills, along with your eating decisions in order to design personal strategies to improve your health, reduce your risk of lifestyle-related illnesses, such as diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, etc, and lay a foundation for peak performance.
Understanding how to eat for general health & wellness is actually harder than it should be. I offer you a minimally restrictive, sustainable, and nutritionally-balanced strategy informed by the USDA MyPlate recommendations.

What can you expect: I will help you change your habits. This is not a one-sized fits all program. It isn’t even just all about food. I focus on what works. I ask questions about your whole-person well-being, identify goals, determine what is possible to change, find and eliminate hidden cognitive barriers, design realistic actionable plans, create a sense of accountability, and witness your success.
Why should you do this: Healthy nutrition impacts more than just body composition and fitness. Healthy nutrition can prevent some of the most prevalent illnesses in our country today. Cardiovascular diseases, stroke, diabetes. certain forms of cancer, and dysregulated mood are strongly linked to our health habits and are known as "lifestyle diseases." Changing your lifestyle can prevent these diseases.
There is also a massive amount of junk science permeating the endurance training work. Often endurance athletes mistake being lean for being fast and take misguided steps to alter body composition in ways the degrade performance. Support is often needed to help endurance athletes stay healthy while training hard to achieve important goals.
How can I help:: Through the lens of behavior science, I help people who want to live better achieve their goal! Together, through face-to-face Zoom sessions we will assess your whole-person experience and identify what you want to change. Through my client portal, we will continue the conversation in the chat. Nutrition habits are not just about food. We will work within your values, beliefs, identify, and strengths to create positive solution-focused healthy habits that are sustainable for you that help you achieve your goals. .

"The Survey found that people think a great deal about the healthfulness of their diets and want to make improvements. Yet, 76 percent agree that ever-changing nutritional guidance makes it hard to know what to believe. And when it comes to making decisions about food, consumers today rely most often on their own research rather than third-party experts. Six out of 10 Americans have given a lot of thought to the foods and beverages they consume (58 percent) and the amount of physical activity they get (61 percent). Yet, only 20 percent say their diet is very healthful and 23 percent describe their diet as extremely or very unhealthful; less than 20 percent meet the national Physical Activity Guidelines." - International Food Information Council (IFIC) Foundation
