Functional Nutrition Coaching is part of Creating Momentum Coaching’s Self-Actualization Coaching Program.

- Functional Nutrition is the most popular focus of my Self-Actualization Coaching Program. Because my Self-Actualization Coaching program is Lifestyle Medicine and Function Nutrition program we will also assess and address exercise, sleep, physical health, and stress management as these focus areas all relate and influence each other.  

- You can use our sessions to received guidance and to help you design any safe nutritional strategies of your choice (Keto, Whole-30, Intermittent Fasting, etc). Together we can build a plan that allows you to assess the efficacy of any safe nutritional approach of your choice. 

- Many clients work with me specifically to learn how to create a minimally restrictive, balanced, and sustainable nutrition plan. If you are interested in learning how to eat in a nutritionally balanced way for life, we can focus our Self-Actualization sessions on "Creating Balance" through Function Nutrition Coaching.  Scroll down to find my program description and link to more information.

  • 49.00 for one Initial Self-Actualization Coaching Assessment Session.  
  • 49.00 for additional coaching sessions scheduled as needed without any commitment to continue. 
  • 176.40 (10% discount) for 4-session coaching package. 
    • 8 weeks to use all sessions. 
    • Unused pre-paid sessions are non-refundable.​ 
    •  Most people request to start with the 4-sessions reduced rate package and use the first session for the initial assessment session but you are free to schedule just one session to start. ​

Who am I:  
I am Behavior Change Coach who offers Lifestyle Medicine Coaching and accessible Function Nutrition Coaching.  

- 
I have a Masters of Science Degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis on Sports Performance and Sport Psychology. My MS programed included graduate level coursework in Nutrition for Athletes. I am an ISSA Certified Fitness Nutrition Specialist, an ISSA Certified Transformation Specialist, and a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC). I have completed continuing education coursework in Lifestyle Medicine and Functional Nutrition. I provide reliable and trustworthy evidence-based nutrition guidance. I share and clarify expert resources to help you decide what you want to change and how to maintain optimal healthy while modifying nutrition,

  • Lifestyle Medicine Coaches partners with clients to co-design self-directed, lasting changes that are aligned with client values in order to promote health and wellness. My Self-Actualization Coaching program is a Lifestyle-Medicine Coaching program. 

  • Functional nutrition uses a holistic approach to assess how your lifestyle affects you food choices which can impact your overall health and well=being. I provide functional nutrition coaching as part of my Self-Actualization Coaching program.

Who I am NOT:
I am not as a Licensed or Registered Dietitian.
 I do NOT provide Medical Nutrition Therapy.  I don't prescribe diets. I don't treat illness, but I do provide guidance to minimize risk. Although we will co-design nutritional strategies that are practical, realistic, and achievable, I will not write meal plans for you.     

What can you expect: 
My Nutrition Coaching Program will help you change your habits.
This is not a one-sized fits all program. it isn’t even just all about food. I focus on what works: Asking questions about your whole-person well-being, identifying goals, determining what is possible to change, finding and eliminating hidden barriers, designing realistic action plans, creating a sense of accountability, and witnessing your success.  

Why do this: 
Healthy nutrition impacts more than just body composition and fitness. Healthy nutrition can prevent some of the most prevalent illnesses in our country today. Cardiovascular diseases, stroke, diabetes. certain forms of cancer, and dysregulated mood are strongly linked to our health habits and are known as lifestyle diseases. Changing your lifestyle can prevent these illnesses.  


How:
​Through the lens of behavior science, I help people who want to live better. Together, through face-to-face Zoom sessions we will assess your whole-person experience and identify what you want to change. Nutrition habits are not just about food. We will work within your values, beliefs, and strengths to create positive solution-focused healthy habits that are sustainable for you.
